Captain’s Log: ConNooga 2022
Had a great time at ConNooga this year. Lots of great Cosplay, fantastic Authors/Writers track, great shopping, and I sold some books. All in all, it was a successful convention for me. I’m looking forward to next year.
Speaking of next year, Gil Hough is handing over the reins of the Authors/Writers track to Jerry Harwood next year. (Both are in the Author’s Alley pages of the Smugglers Cove & Hucksters Haven portion of this site.)
I’ll be updating the Smugglers Cove & Hucksters Haven probably this weekend. Encountered several new vendors and authors in the Dealers Room this year. I’ll post my con photos to FB this weekend, also.
Lastly, it was brought to my attention that I hadn’t put all my social links on my About page. This has been rectified.
Corrected Cover Reveal
I fixed the boo-boo with the episode title.
Edit: aaaaand I still didn’t get it right. In my rush to redo the text before leaving for the convention this morning, I forgot to include the episode number on the cover. I will fix that either tonight or tomorrow morning.
It’s mildly aggravating, but still a quick fix.

Corrections
BIG oops. Episode 14 of The Adventures of Pigg & Woolfe is titled Under the Mountain. Going Underground is the title of episode 17. This is what happens when one edits several episodes back to back. I will have to redo the text on the cover. Meep.
ConNooga and Cover Reveal
Prepping this morning to head to ConNooga this afternoon. No table or panels this year, but I plan to find the author track director to rectify that for next year. I’ll just be pushing books. Since I don’t have any 1st edition copies of Demon Bayou other than my personal copy, I’m only taking Blood Curse and The Adventures of Pigg & Woolfe, season 1: The Girl Who Fell from the Sky. If I encounter past customers who want to continue the Waves of Darkness series before all 7 are re-released, I’ll arrange to bring in the titles they want the next day.

The Adventures of Pigg & Woolfe, episode 14: Going Underground will be released on KDP Tuesday, February 22nd ( 2/22/22).
State of the Author: Organized Chaos
Yeah.
For starters, I will have Going Underground, episode 14 of The Adventures of Pigg & Woolfe uploaded on time this month. Release date is Tuesday, February 22 (2/22/22). I have finished the cover illustration and will add text to it this weekend. Look for the cover reveal sometime Sunday.
I also plan to put together an audition sampler from Blood Curse for prospective narrators on ACX this weekend. As much as I would like to retain full control of the audio book, I cannot afford to pay a narrator up front. Therefore, I am going to try to find one who fits and will work on a royalty-share basis. This means locking in with Audible exclusively for a 7-year contract rather than going wide. Wish me luck.
I’m continuing to edit and format season 3 of The Adventures of Pigg & Woolfe, and I’m coming along with drafting season 4.
Before much longer, I will do final edits on the 2nd edition of Demon Bayou, and will contract the cover art. I will not wait until the last minute to get it into the various formats I need for the platforms I publish this series on.
