Revisioning

I’m sure that’s a real word. If it’s not, it ought to be.

I had not so much a brain storm as a brain cloud burst in regards to an in-product marketing ploy regarding the The Adventures of Pigg & Woolfe serial. It will involve pulling the currently published episodes and releasing revised versions. It does not involve changes to the story, just addendums. I want to plug introductions on the front of each episode which invites new readers to get any previous episodes and gives them the correct reading order of the titles.

On the end, I plan to add teaser questions to entice readers to get the next episode. I also plan to invite them to check out this website if they are interested in learning about my other stories.

Finally, I plan to overhaul the blurbs I just dashed out with more enticing ones on the individual Amazon pages for the episodes.

Werk werk werk.

I will upload episode 9, The Italian Connection, later this evening.

Moar Progress

For the fans of my Steampunk serial, The Adventures of Pigg & Woolfe: episode 9 is edited, and the cover art is in process. Look for it on Kindle sometime this weekend or early next week.

One of my goals is to have the first 12 episodes out and a hard copy full season omnibus available by the time LibertyCon rolls around.

For those of you eagerly awaiting the next Waves of Darkness title, Hunting the Dragon: I typed up chapters 3, 4, and 5 on my phone and have uploaded them to my desktop. Going to start chapter 6 today.

I am considering starting a Patreon page. I need to talk to others I know who’ve had them for a few years to find out what effect it could have on my taxes first. I was one of the ones who still managed to get one this year. I’d like to keep it that way.

I saw Lydia Sherrer is still on the list of attending authors for LibertyCon. A few, including the original Literary GoH for this year, Patricia Briggs, have had to cancel since the convention was forced to change dates and venues. I hope Lydia is still able to attend. I have book shopping to do and also look forward to visiting with her. Perhaps she’ll even bring her little Dread Pirate in Training along.

Hmm, since Liberty doesn’t have a replacement for Ms. Briggs yet, maybe I’ll hint to Brandy and Rich to see if Sherrilyn Kenyon is available. Haven’t had a chance to see her in person since a book signing she did in Orlando back in 2005 or 2006. I wasn’t able to attend the last Chattacon she was a guest at back in 2010.

Housekeeping

If you’ll check the menu bar, you’ll notice a new drop down menu for Smuggler’s Cove & Huckster’s Haven. The page was getting burdensome to sift through, so, with the exception of a couple of categories, I built sub-pages for the various types of vendors and businesses listed to make browsing/shopping easier. As always, the listings are from business cards I’ve picked up at conventions over the years. If any of the links fail to work, it probably means the vendor has either gone out of business or changed domains. (I started collecting these cards around 2010.)

I have also been adding a few new links along. If you haven’t visited the Cove recently, you might want to go check it out.
