Pre-Convention News

Ahoy!

While I will be attending Chattacon 44 this weekend at Chattanooga’s historic Read House Hotel, I am not on any of the panels nor do I have a dealer table this year. I would post a list of the panels I plan to attend, but my plans are often subject to change at the last minute.

Still, if you can make it, just look for a fat old pirate wench. Chances are it’ll be me. (No, I’m not down on myself, just honest about my appearance.) I still have print copies of books 2 through 7 of my Waves of Darkness series available and will bring a few with me to try to unload around the convention. I sold out of book 1 at last year’s LibertyCon.

Double Jeopardy has been added to the The Adventures of Pigg & Woolfe page under the menu heading for Books and Short Stories.

Season 1: Episodes 1-6 has been uploaded to Kindle and should go live no later than Friday.

I finally have a working title for Waves of Darkness book 8. Hunting the Dragon. I’m already three handwritten pages into it, which isn’t bad considering that was written during 10-minute breaks at work.

Last but not least, fellow author, D.A. Adams has finally released his fifth and final installment in his Brotherhood of Dwarves series, The King of Dwarves. I’ve been waiting for this book for a few years now. Although it is currently only available as an ebook, I hope some day it is made available in print. I’d dearly like to complete the set on my bookshelf. I’m looking at YOU, D.A. !hairy eyeball

Mail Boat Is In

All sorts of news to share!

The Adventures of Pigg & Woolfe: 7 Double Jeopardy is live on Kindle. I’ll add the link and cover art this evening after I get home from work.

Also to be shared this evening will be the cover art for the compiled episodes 1 through 6. I’ll upload that to Kindle tonight, and it should go live by Thursday.

I’ve finished plotting book 8 of Waves of Darkness and plan to start writing it today during work breaks. While I don’t have a working title yet, I feel this book is going to be fun to write. I fell down a research rabbit hole last week and worked out the names and personalities of enough Daughters of the Dragon (DotD) to flesh out 7 books for this story arc. I’m basing them off ancient goddesses of the hunt from various cultures. It was very interesting reading, getting away from just the Greco-Roman, Norse, and Egyptian mythologies I was fascinated with from childhood.

For now, I have to go to work.
