Blood Curse: Waves of Darkness book 1 is now available on Google Books!

I heartily apologize for how long this took. This was the first book I’ve self-published wide rather than solely through KDP, and I had (probably still have) a lot to learn. I will do my best to see that future books are released as close to simultaneously as possible across all platforms.

I am planning a contest closer to the May release of Demon Bayou: Waves of Darkness book 2. It will be for an eARC of that book, and I’ll probably hold it in early April. Reading Blood Curse will be vital to the requirements of the contest.

I spent part of yesterday getting Episode 13 of The Adventures of Pigg & Woolfe edited for January release. I still have a few touches to add plus cover art before it’s ready. For anyone who collected the individual episodes from season 1, I will be using a different cover design for season 2. I still plan to include the line art from the individual episodes of the second season as illustrations in the print omnibus.

I might edit some more episodes today.

Patience

Still waiting on Google Books to finish reviewing my account and let Blood Curse go live.

I finally created an Epub, using Calibre, that passed verification. Uploaded it last weekend. However, it takes up to 12 days for them to conduct the account review. Why? Haven’t a clue.

As soon as the book does go live, I will link it on the landing page.

Meanwhile, the ebook is available through Smashwords and their distribution partners. I am seriously considering enrolling it in their end of year sale, as well. Haven’t decided on which discount level yet. I’ll keep you posted.

In Memorium: Darrell “Doc” Osborn

It is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of a cherished convention friend.

Doc was a wonderful, talented human being. Not only was he an entertainer, performing magic shows, he was very adroit with inflatable technology.

He was also a very accomplished Illustrator and 3D renderer, creating book covers and even technical renderings for NASA.

He was a familiar face at two of my favorite conventions, Chattacon and LibertyCon, where all members are like an extended family.

Earlier this week, he underwent a cardiac ablation process and had a pacemaker installed, as well. He was home recovering, last post I saw before this morning. When I checked my social media before work today I saw he was gone.

My most sincere condolences to Stephanie Osborn, his wife, my fellow author and friend. I know our convention family will stand by and support her as she goes through this loss.

We will miss you, Doc.
